What are the causes of erectile dysfunction?

Physical causes of erectile dysfunction, also known as ED for short, can include circulatory disorders, diseases of the nervous system, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, surgical interventions or the consequences of an injury.

Neurogenic diseases can also cause erectile dysfunction . In most cases, this relates to the presence of Parkinson's disease, a stroke, multiple sclerosis or other diseases of the spine.
